Blender Mantaflow Explosions

These are 3D Explosion simulation Files from the Blender Mantaflow Tutorial series by Crossmind Studio.

Files are just only for understanding the setup and reference material to follow along with the tutorial which can be accessed on our youtube channel

Blend Files

This includes 3 main Explosion files setups which is seen in the trailer.

Example 1- Grenade Explosion
Example 2- Gasoline Explosion
Example 3 - Ground Explosion

And few Misc Files, which were created during tutorial sessions.

Version Compatability

The VDB cache can be loaded into any latest version of Blender or Even in other softwares which support vdb.

However if you wish to rebake simulations then use 2.91 in which original sim was made. Results might vary if later versions are used because of changes in fields etc in Blender.

About VDB Cache

VDB cache files are only available for Gasoline and Ground Explosion file. For grenade explosion, just click on bake button and keep the resolution between 128-180 (180 preferred)

Blend Files have all the necessary data for explosion simulations including particles/VDB/forcefields/lights/camera/shaders etc However

only explosion-related data is available in files. Secondary elements seen in the trailer such as Can/Puppet are just for promotion and visualization purposes which are not part of these files.
